Debra Loftus, PhD

Debra Loftus, Ph.D., is an experienced organizational effectiveness professional with a
passion for improving individual, team and organizational performance. Deb's distinctive
value as a provider of high impact solutions is based on her unique combination of
extensive corporate experience along with her deep understanding and creative utilization
of the psychological principles behind individual and organizational change. Deb developed
her "insider" wisdom through her 10-year career as an internal organizational effectiveness
consultant and senior human resources leader in HR planning and development. She
worked within a variety of industries and organizational settings including Baxter
Healthcare, Alliant Foodservice and W.W. Grainger, Inc. Since launching her career as an
external consultant, Deb has continued to deepen her organizational experience through
work with a broad client list that has included Sears, Roebuck & Company; Cardinal Health;
ServiceMaster; Blue Cross Blue Shield Association; the Boeing Company, the Chicago Bar
Foundation, Ascension Health, Accenture and Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc.

A highly skilled facilitator of individual and leadership team effectiveness, Deb possesses
significant experience working within the C-Suite and senior leadership levels. In addition,
her tool kit of potential solutions spans individual psychological assessment and
development, team diagnostics and intervention, strategic planning, change management,
talent management systems design, competency systems design, organizational design,
executive transition acceleration and organizational communications.

Deb is certified in multiple tools and techniques including Benchmarks from the Center for
Creative Leadership, the Leadership Architect Suite from Lominger Ltd., the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator, and the Team Management Index as well as Stephen Covey's Seven
Habits for Highly Effective People and First Things First. She is a licensed clinical
psychologist in the state of Illinois and a former Fellow in the Harvard University School of
Medicine. Deb holds doctorate and master's degrees in clinical/personality psychology from
Northwestern University and graduated magna cum laude from Wittenberg University. She
is currently adjunct faculty at Northwestern University, teaching Foundations of Leadership
within the graduate school.
